Doherty Endurance Coaching uses evidence based training to achieve an athlete's goals while keeping them engaged and healthy. Combining running with strength training is a pillar for keeping athletes healthy and correcting muscle imbalances. Running is an amalgamation of entire wellness. Therefore, recovery habits, life stress, sleep patterns and nutrition are all factors researched and discussed with athletes. We take as much pride helping someone find enjoyment and consistency with running as we do helping someone prepare for a race or PR attempt.

About Andy

I grew up playing organized team sports since the age of 4 and found the endurance world through racing Spartan since 2019. Since then, I have emersed myself in training and learning the research based practices to perform competitively. I have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and have combined the physiological knowledge gained there with certifications from NASM as a certified personal trainer and from UESCA as a certified running coach. My passion is now in the ultramarathon distance having done a 50K and 50 mile distance with the goal of progressing to the 100 mile distance over the next couple years. My coaching goals are to share the knowledge I have amassed through continuous learning and grow trusting and beneficial relationships with the athletes I work with.

About Adrienne

My love for running came about when the world shut down in 2020. As something that originally was intended to help me succeed at obstacle course racing has become an integral part of my life. I have spent much of my time learning more about how to build endurance, get faster, and how to help others achieve the same. I am in my final year at Oswego State University finishing up my Bachelor's degree in Wellness Management. Much of my studies have focused on body systems, exercise physiology, nutrition, psychology, and overall wellbeing. I am also an NASM certified personal trainer and have been coaching individual and group fitness for several years. My biggest love regardless of distance is mountain running (and the longer the better I suppose!) My goals as a coach are to use my knowledge and experience to help other athletes grow and achieve while sharing the same passion for running.
